Meet Our Doctoral-Level Psychologists and Clinicians
At Duality Psychological Services, you are supported by a team of doctoral-level psychologists and master’s-level clinicians who combine clinical depth with genuine compassion.
Our practice was built on a clear belief: people don’t need to be “fixed.” They need clarity, honest support, and tools that respect their individuality so they can regain balance and a sense of power in their lives.
Dr. Joel Frank, Psy.D.
Founder & Licensed Psychologist
I’ve spent years helping clients untangle the impact of trauma, family-of-origin wounds, and relationship patterns that leave them feeling powerless.
Most of the people I work with are high-functioning adults who have held things together for a long time, often at the expense of their own wellbeing.
They come in feeling burned out, overwhelmed, or unsure how to break long-standing cycles.
I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. I take time to understand who you are, what you carry, and what has shaped the way you move through the world.
My goal is to help you understand yourself more clearly so you can make choices that feel grounded, intentional, and aligned with your values.
I care deeply about helping clients understand themselves in a way that brings more balance and personal power.
I am calm and thoughtful in my style, and I approach every conversation with genuine respect for the strength it takes to confront long-standing patterns.

Dr. Regine Muradian, Psy.D.
Licensed Clinical Psychologist
I work with children, adolescents, and adults who are often carrying more than they let on.
Many of the people I see are navigating anxiety, depression, disordered eating, ADHD, or the daily weight of executive functioning challenges.
They tend to arrive feeling stretched thin and unsure where to begin.
I don't believe age determines what's possible. I've always held that real change starts with a single idea.
Every client — no matter how young or how seasoned — has inner strengths worth uncovering.
I draw on my own multicultural background to meet people where they are, using psychodynamic, CBT, and DBT approaches to build practical tools while making sense of the deeper patterns underneath.
I care deeply about advocacy and education, and I bring that same energy into the room with you.
I'm warm, direct, and genuinely invested in helping you recognize what you're capable of.

Dr. Synne Baker, Psy.D.
Conditionally Licensed Psychologist
I'm a Los Angeles native dedicated to helping people feel understood, empowered, and genuinely supported.
Many of the clients I work with are wrestling with questions of identity and culture, or pushing back against systemic barriers that have made it harder to move forward.
Beginning therapy can feel like a big step, especially when you already feel stretched thin.
My approach is collaborative and culturally responsive, shaped around who you are rather than a fixed formula.
I take time to understand your unique needs and goals, and I tailor the work to fit them.
Therapy with me is about understanding what lies beneath the surface and turning that insight into realistic, lasting change.
I care deeply about meeting people where they are, and I bring respect and steadiness to every conversation.
If beginning this work feels daunting, know that you don't have to have it all figured out before you reach out.

I'm open to working with clients across the lifespan, from preschoolers through college-aged individuals, with a particular focus on middle and high school students.
