I am Dr. Synne Baker, a Los Angeles native and psychologist dedicated to helping individuals feel understood, empowered, and supported.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Clark Atlanta University, followed by a Master’s degree in School Psychology and Counseling Services from Howard University, and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Washington, D.C.

I completed my APA-accredited internship at the Institute for Multicultural Counseling and Education Services (IMCES) in Los Angeles, providing care to diverse individuals and families. My professional background spans college counseling centers, private practices, correctional settings, inpatient facilities, and community programs. I specialize in supporting individuals with significant mental health concerns and assisting clients as they navigate identity, culture, and systemic barriers. My practice is rooted in a collaborative, culturally responsive approach tailored to meet each client’s unique needs and goals.
